Itinerary

Puri (3N)- Bhubaneswar (1N)

Day 1: Arrival Bhubaneswar – Dhauli – Pipili – Puri (60 km / 2 hrs)

Arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, meet & greet by our representative and transfer to Puri.

Enroute Sightseeing:

• Dhauli Peace Pagoda – Historic site of Kalinga War where Emperor Ashoka embraced Buddhism.
• Pipili Village – Famous for colorful Applique handicrafts (traditional Odisha artwork).

Arrive in Puri and check into hotel.

Evening free to relax at Golden Beach, Puri.

Overnight stay: Puri

Day 02 : Puri Temple Darshan – Konark – Coastal Drive – Puri

After breakfast, proceed for temple visit.

Puri Sightseeing:

• Shree Jagannath Temple – One of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Jagannath (form of Lord Vishnu).
Only Hindus allowed inside temple premises.
• Gundicha Temple – Associated with Rath Yatra festival.
• Loknath Temple – Famous Shiva temple.

Later drive to Konark via scenic Marine Drive.

Konark & Coastal Highlights:

• Konark Sun Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site) – 13th-century architectural marvel shaped like a chariot of the Sun God.
• Light & Sound Show at Konark (subject to operation).
• Ramachandi Beach
• Chandrabhaga Beach – One of the cleanest beaches in Odisha.
Return to Puri.

Day 03 : Excursion to Chilika Lake – Satapada (50 km / 1.5 hrs one way)

After breakfast, proceed to Satapada, located at the banks of Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon – Chilika Lake (spread over 1,100 sq km).

Enroute:

• Alarnath Temple – Important Vaishnavite shrine.

At Chilika:

• Boat Ride (at own cost)
• Spot rare Irrawaddy Dolphins
• Visit Sea Mouth (Hradaya Sagar Sangam) – where lake meets Bay of Bengal

Return to Puri by evening. Relax at Golden Beach & explore local market for shell handicrafts.
Overnight stay: Puri

Day 04: Puri – Bhubaneswar Sightseeing (Temple City Tour)

After breakfast, transfer to Bhubaneswar.

Sightseeing:

• Udayagiri & Khandagiri Caves – 2nd Century BC Jain rock-cut caves.
• Nandankanan Zoological Park – Famous for White Tigers (Closed Monday).
• Tribal Museum – Showcasing Odisha’s tribal culture (Closed Monday).
• Ekamra Haat – Local handicrafts & souvenirs market.

Overnight stay: Bhubaneswar

Day 05 : Bhubaneswar Temple Circuit – Departure

After breakfast, explore ancient temples.

Temple Circuit:

• Parshurameshwar Temple
• Mukteshwar Temple
• Rajarani Temple
• Lingaraj Temple (Only Hindus allowed inside)
• Kalabhoomi Craft Museum (Closed Monday & Govt Holidays)

Later transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport for departure.
