Phuentsholing (1N) →Thimphu (1N) →Punakha (1N) →Paro (2N) → Phuentsholing (1N)

Day 01: Bagdogra – Phuentsholing

Distance: 160 km |⏱ Drive: 5 hrs
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and transfer by road to Phuentsholing, the gateway town to Bhutan located at the foothills of the Himalayas.
Meet your Bhutanese guide after immigration formalities.
🛍 Evening free to explore the local market.
Overnight stay in Phuentsholing

Day 02: Phuentsholing – Thimphu

Distance: 155 km |⏱ Drive: 5 hrs
After breakfast complete immigration and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.
En route visit:
Kharbandi Monastery
Chuzom Confluence – Meeting point of Paro & Thimphu rivers
In Thimphu visit:
Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point)
🕉 National Memorial Chorten
Tashichho Dzong
🛍 Evening walk in Thimphu market & craft bazaar.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 03: Thimphu – Punakha

Distance: 75 km |⏱ Drive: 2.5 hrs
Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass, famous for the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and panoramic Himalayan views.
Visit:
Punakha Dzong – Bhutan’s most beautiful fortress
Punakha Suspension Bridge – Longest suspension bridge in Bhutan
Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 04: Punakha – Paro

Morning visit Chimi Lhakhang, the famous Fertility Temple associated with Drukpa Kunley.
Later drive to Paro.
Visit:
🏛 Ta Dzong National Museum
Rinpung Dzong
Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 05: Tiger’s Nest Monastery Excursion

After breakfast hike to the iconic Paro Taktsang, perched dramatically on a cliff above Paro Valley.
Later visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples built by Songtsen Gampo.
Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 06: Paro – Phuentsholing

Distance: 155 km |⏱ Drive: 5 hrs
After breakfast drive back to Phuentsholing.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 07: Phuentsholing – Bagdogra Departure

After breakfast complete immigration formalities and transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your onward flight.
