Itinerary

Kargil (1N) • Leh (2N) • Nubra Valley (1N) • Pangong (1N) • Leh (1N)

Day 01: Srinagar → Kargil via Sonmarg (Approx. 204 kms / 7–8 hrs)

Warm welcome on arrival at Srinagar. Begin one of the most scenic Himalayan journeys towards Kargil.

Drive through the beautiful Sonmarg – the Meadow of Gold, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and alpine valleys.

Optional activities:
Pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (direct payment basis)

Cross the famous:
Zoji La – gateway to Ladakh

Arrival at Kargil by evening.
Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 02: Kargil → Leh via Lamayuru

After breakfast, proceed towards Leh along the scenic Indus Valley route.

Enroute visit:
Lamayuru Monastery – one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh
Explore the famous Moonland landscapes with unique lunar-like formations

Pass through picturesque Ladakhi villages and apricot orchards.
On arrival, transfer to hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Leh – Acclimatisation & Local Sightseeing

This day is reserved for rest and acclimatisation to the high altitude of Ladakh.

Evening sightseeing includes:
Shanti Stupa – panoramic sunset views
Leh Palace – 17th-century royal palace
Explore Leh Market for local handicrafts and souvenirs

Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh → Nubra Valley via Khardung La

After early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via:

Khardung La (18,380 ft) – one of the world’s highest motorable roads

Short stop for photography (weather permitting).

Visit:
Diskit Monastery
Giant Maitreya Buddha Statue

Later visit:
Hunder Sand Dunes
Optional Bactrian Camel Safari (direct payment basis)

Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 05: Nubra Valley → Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

After breakfast, drive towards the breathtaking Pangong Tso via the scenic Shyok route.

Enjoy remote Himalayan landscapes and dramatic mountain scenery.

Pangong Lake Highlights:
Situated at approx. 14,000 ft
Extends across India & China
Famous for changing shades of blue

Evening free to relax by the lakeside.
Overnight stay at Pangong camp

Day 06: Pangong Lake → Leh via Chang La (Approx. 145 kms / 5 hrs)

Morning enjoy the serene beauty of Pangong Lake.

After breakfast, drive back to Leh via:
Chang La – one of the highest motorable passes in the region

Arrival in Leh by afternoon. Evening free for leisure or shopping.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 07: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpoche Airport for onward journey.
Tour ends with unforgettable memories of Ladakh.

Daily breakfast from Day 2 onward, or as specified in the itinerary.
