Itinerary

Pokhara (2N) → Kathmandu (2N) → Chitwan (2N)

Day 1 – Gorakhpur ➜ Lumbini ➜ Pokhara (11– 12 hrs)

• Pickup from Gorakhpur & transfer to Sunauli border for immigration formalities
• Enter Nepal & proceed to Lumbini – birthplace of Lord Buddha

Sightseeing in Lumbini:

• Maya Devi Temple – Exact birthplace of Gautam Buddha
• Sacred Pond (where Queen Maya Devi bathed before delivery)
• Ashoka Pillar (249 BC inscription)
• World Peace Flame & International Monasteries

After darshan, continue scenic drive along rivers & hills to Pokhara
Overnight stay at hotel in Pokhara

Early morning excursion to Sarangkot
• Witness breathtaking sunrise over Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Himalayan range

After breakfast, full Pokhara tour:

• Bindabasini Temple (Durga temple of Pokhara)
• Davis Falls (underground waterfall)
• Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave (Shivling inside cave)

Overnight stay in Pokhara

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu (8–9 hrs scenic highway drive)

Manakamana Temple
• Reach temple by cable car ride over Trishuli
River valley • Temple fulfills wishes — highly sacred to Hindus

Continue drive to Kathmandu Evening free for Thamel market shopping (souvenirs, handicrafts, cafés)

Overnight stay in Kathmandu

Full day sightseeing of UNESCO heritage sites:

• Pashupatinath Temple – One of the holiest Shiva temples in the world
• Budhanilkantha Temple – Sleeping Vishnu in water pond
• Swayambhunath – Monkey Temple hilltop stupa
• Boudhanath Stupa – Largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal
• Kathmandu Durbar Square – Living Goddess Kumari Palace & ancient royal architecture

Overnight stay in Kathmandu

Drive to Chitwan (5–6 hrs) – Nepal’s wildlife belt

Activities:
• Welcome drink & briefing at resort
• Tharu tribal village visit
• Sunset view at Rapti Riverbank
• Traditional Tharu cultural dance show

Overnight stay in jungle resort

Adventure day inside UNESCO wildlife park:

Overnight stay in Chitwa
